My self and my friends have been coming to Pattaya for many years. But the hotel we used to stay increased their room prices a lot and we decided to change the hotel. On a recommendation we stayed for the first time at the Swiss Paradise Resort. It’s a small resort, yet with personalised service and we like the rooms. They are of good value for money and we can bring a lady friend without having to pay a joiner charge. The management or night security keeps however the ladies ID card which is returned to them upon their departure this leafs me also with some sense of security.  We will defiantly return.

This has been our second visit to Pattaya. The first time we stayed at a hotel right in the city’s centre, but due to noise disturbance from nearby bars we decided for our next holiday to stay at a hotel in a more quiet location, yet still only within minutes to the centre. That is when we found the Swiss Paradise Resort this is a small resort with only 16 rooms We stayed in one of the garden bungalows and enjoyed the special summer promotion rate at only 800.-  The bungalows are nicely furnished and decorated. The food is excellent and the garden just like in Paradise.  We enjoyed our stay, the hospitality and personalised ambiance. We have found our little paradise in an otherwise swinging city and shall definitely return next year.

This has been our third stay at the Swiss Paradise Resort and we love it. Our room was clean, the staff very friendly and we particularly enjoyed the extra large balcony with view over the beautiful garden and dining at the al fresco or open-air restaurant and bar. We found the pool a little small but lovely.
First time visitors might be surprised by the huge building boom which is going on in and around Pattaya including some new hotel and condominium projects near the Swiss Paradise, we could hear occasional construction work going on, but didn’t find it disturbing during our stay and look forward to see the finished buildings next year.

During our holiday at the Swiss Paradise Resort in Pattaya we invited our friends for dinner to the Paradise Garden Restaurant, located on the premises. As the name indicates it is indeed a paradise, tropical and exotic flowers and plants everywhere.

While looking over the menu, we sipped the Kir Paradise pre-dinner cocktail, which has champagne, cassis and lychees while my wife and I offered our two guests our suggestions of dishes we've enjoyed in the past couple years we've been visiting the restaurant. I had the "Smoked Norwegian Salmon" and my wife again had the "Deep-fried Camembert". Our friends enjoyed a "Greek Salad" and an order of the "Chef-Style Mussels", sauteed in butter, onions & white wine. I couldn't wait to again enjoy the "Exotic Quartet", which is a sampler of kangaroo, ostrich, emu and crocodile. The crocodile fillet is marinated in a Cajun seasoning with sesame seeds and herb butter. The taste is a cross between chicken and veal and Hans told us that he experimented with 10 recipes before settling on this particular one. My wife tried the "Ostrich Fillet", with a Remy Martin and green peppercorn sauce while my friend Dave had the "Exotic Trio" a selection of kangaroo, ostrich and crocodile. His wife was less adventurous but enjoyed a lovely dish of "Sole Tropicana". My wife and I shared a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile, which was their monthly wine promotion and a bargain for 850 baht.
The Paradise Garden Restaurant is one of our favourite restaurants in Pattaya and our friends were most impressed. We are already looking forward to our next holiday at the Swiss Paradise Resort in Pattaya.
